Back in Time is a revolutionary experience that is transforming the way we look at history and education. With advanced technology, interactive exhibits and a unique atmosphere, we take you on a journey through time that combines fascinating stories, visual art and a modern approach to learning. Our exhibits allow you to be part of key moments in Prague’s history in a new and exciting way.
Back in Time is located on the 6th floor of the iconic Máj building on Národní Street

What are the opening hours?
We are open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The programme starts at 9:15 a.m., and the last entry is at 7:45 p.m. (be sure to come on time).
Is there parking?
Unfortunately not. You can park outside on the street in the blue zone.
Are there lockers?
Yes, you can store your belongings safely in our lockers.
Are strollers allowed?
You can access our premises with a stroller but they are not allowed in the exhibition area.
Is there free Wi-Fi?
Yes, you can connect to our network and share your experiences in real-time.
Do you offer souvenirs and vouchers?
Yes, we have such a great gift shop that you can take away all the keepsakes you want.
Are pets allowed?
There are no pets allowed with the exception of guide dogs – these are welcome.
What is the exhibition capacity?
A maximum of 28 people can visit the exhibition at one time.
Can I take photos or videos?
You may take photos, but video recordings are strictly prohibited and subject to a fine.
For whom is the exhibition suitable?
It is intended for all ages, from 6 to 99! (To enter the Back in Time exhibition, visitors must be at least 110 cm tall.)
Are audio guides available?
Yes, in several languages – time knows no boundaries!
Can you issue me an invoice for the admission?
Yes, but only for pre-arranged events.
Are the vouchers valid for a limited time?
Yes.
Do I need to show my ID?
Yes, for discounts you need your handicap (ZTP) card, ISIC or other relevant ID.
How long does the tour take?
Your journey lasts about 50 minutes, which is just enough to avoid jet lag.
Do I have to reserve my ticket in advance?
Yes, reservations are required for individuals and groups.
Are refreshments available on-site?
Not yet, but we’re planning to set up a small kiosk soon. However, you can have a bite to eat in our Fly Vista rooftop restaurant located on the 8th floor.
Is the exhibition wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the future and the past are accessible to everyone, even wheelchair users.
